The Northeast

Brazil is divided in five big areas, all of them refer to their geographic situation: North,
  Northeast, Middle-West, Southeast and South.

The Northeast is a very special seaside area, very near to Europe, linked to the trade
and of course to the tourism, and it has an incredible natural beauty concentrated
in a not very large area unifying Sea, Beaches and Dunes with Rivers, Lakes, Woods and Mountains.

The Northeast area includes the State of Maranhao being Sao Luis its capital, and Piaui
 with the
capital Teresina, Ceará with Fortaleza, Rio grande do norte with Natal, located
at the North and very influenced by its proximity to the Amazon, with forerst areas, river
mouths, and an exceptional climate that proves the reason why Alcántara is here, the
only space station of the country. This area is most visited by the European Tourists, without
 being influenced its natural enchantement.

Northeast States:

Nearer to the South we can find the States of Paraníba with its capital
Joao Pessoa ; Pernambuco with the capital Recife;
Alagoas with the capital
Maceió ;
Sergipe with the capital Aracaju and Bahía, very big State whose
capital is Salvador.

This is a summer vacation area for the Brazilian people of other States, especially
from the South.

   Ceará

The capital of the Ceará State( 150.000 km2 / 8 million people ) is Fortaleza.
Fortaleza is a sea city, cosmopolite, attractive, dynamic, and one of the most
funniest places in the Brazilian Northeast are. It offers many fun possibilities during
the day and the night. Fortaleza, with more than 2.500.000 inhabitants, has
become the financial and administrative centre of the  Ceará State.

In Fortaleza there are hospitals, a growing international airport, theaters, universities,
libraries… It is also a very big economic and financial centre where the most important
Brazilian companies are, including fishing, textile, wood companies, etc.

The metropolitan area of Fortaleza has a very modern architectural profile and is
beginning to have a great Real Estate development.

Its climate is slightly tropical with a temperature between 25ºC and 28ºC with very
poor rain.

The vast beaches of white sand and cristal clear water of not less than 27º C, are only a part of its attractions. Beaches with a great number of restaurants where you can taste the Brazilian food and gastronomy (seafood, rice and fish...)
Along all its beaches there are many "chiringuitos" (beach bars) where we can find natural fruit
juices and water as perfect refreshing drinks.
But there is one special appeal that can only be found if you visit Fortaleza: Its people.
They are always smiling because people there are always kind and nice, generous and cheerfull,
and this puts us in a very confortable environment.
Tourism has lead to important improvements of the infrastructure and has created a lot of jobs and income.

Ceará does not only welcome national tourists but also many tourists from Argentina, Uruguay,
America, USA, and mainly from Europe because of its nearness to the continent.
Right now the Real Estate business is in its best moment of growth.
Particulars,
investment groups and restaurants are fixing their positions.

The recent nomination of Fortaleza as the 2014 World Championship headquarter, is one
more reason to consider this moment as an excellent opportunity to invest in a "riskless"
way and with a guaranteed
profitability.

       Alagoas

The capital of the Alagoas Estate, is Maceió, ( 900.000 inhabitants).
The city is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mondaú Lagoon, which is very
important financial point for the fisher communities who live at the seasides.
In September 2005, they opened the International Airport of Zumbi dos Palmares,
one of the most modern airports of Brazil.
